Big Light Blue "Piumato" Murano Egg Pendant
Made in Venice: Katerina travels to the Serenissima to create her own designs and transformed them into a pendant necklace. This Murano egg follows the ancient method of "piumato" glass work: a feather inspired motif on which the designer added 3 dimensional dots on top. This bead is made by a glass master following the lamp work method: the bead is made of solid glass which is created by heating the glass "baguette" around a metal rod, adding coloured glass on top. What a wonderful way to create a unique piece of jewelry!
The Murano Eggs are created exclusively for Katerina Psoma, by highly skilled master glass artisans in Venice, Italy. Every single Murano Egg is handmade and thus design slightly varies.
