Mini Light Blue "Pestaccio" Murano Egg Pendant
A Murano egg with history.... This is the way we create our egg pendants that just came from Venice. This bead carries the “pestaccio” design which is many centuries old. In English, it is named "End of the Day”. Why? Because the artist after a long day of glass making used a hot glass set on a metal rod to gather all the tiny pieces of glass that were scattered on their working table, in order not to throw anything away. Colourful glass dots adorn this egg. A centuries old tradition transformed into a pendant necklace.
The Murano Eggs are created exclusively for Katerina Psoma, by highly skilled master glass artisans in Venice, Italy. Every single Murano Egg is handmade and thus design slightly varies.
